“Prime Time: F00TW3RK” takeover at Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago

The Era Footwork Crew curated and participated in a museum takeover event at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago celebrating Chicago footwork. "Prime Time: F00TW3RK" featured performances by RP Boo, SUZI ANALOGUE, DJ Spinn of Teklife, Jana Rush, The Era, and I Am the Queen on the museum's terrace.

The event included digital art installations, including a GIF party media lounge, AR/VR experiences by the Digital Museum of Digital Art (DiMoDA), and an installation by Rebirth Garments. Attendees viewed a new internet-themed exhibition and received custom screen-printed T-shirts from Spudnik Press.

"Prime Time: F00TW3RK" was organized by museum curators January Parkos Arnall and Christy LeMaster, in collaboration with Wills Glasspiegel and The Era Footwork Crew. The event showcased footwork's evolution from a local dance style to a globally recognized art form.
