From Columbia's press release: The Era is a South Side footwork crew that channels footwork through diverse mediums such as animation, art, fashion, film, poetry, education, and activism, and includes some of the city's most accomplished dancers (Litebulb, Chief Manny, Dempsey, P-Top, and Steelo). The Era also includes scholar and artist Wills Glasspiegel, whose photographs and films are featured throughout In the Circle. With Columbia College Chicago's long standing tradition of dance and performing art, In the Circle and the Era have found a natural home in the Chicago's South Loop art community.
